Facts about Hunger in Oxford

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE GROCERIES BEING DISTRIBUTED IN OXFORD

The "Oxford Ecumenical Council" and the "Oxford Food Shelf" have been
providing "FREE" groceries to families in Oxford for over 45 years.

In 2019 the Oxford Food Shelf distributed FREE groceries during 1,093 family visits. 

The family members included:
  •     120  family members ages 0 to 4
  •     727  family members ages 5 to 17
  •  1,627  family members ages 18 to 64
  •     419  family members ages 65 or older

  Number of family visits to the Oxford Food Shelf for monthly groceries.
