National Volunteer Month 2022

Let's Celebrate National Volunteer Month!

Oxford Food Shelf volunteers are the best! There are the volunteers you see when you visit us on Thursday evenings - they do an awesome job serving our families. And then there's the crew that does all the behind-the-scenes prep work, getting ready for Thursday evenings - such as restocking our shelves with non-perishable food items and cleaning and personal care items. That's just a peek at all they do.

Most Thursdays, our families will find Carol Uppgard behind her trusty sewing machine working on any clothing repairs they need and other projects. Carol not only gives of herself on Thursday evenings, she also serves on the Oxford Ecumenical Council which manages the Food Shelf.

Oxford Ecumenical Council and Food Shelf is grateful for all our volunteers and all they do!

If you are an Oxford resident or a member of an Oxford church and you need food for your family, stop in to see us. Or if you know someone in Oxford who needs food for their family, please tell them about us.

The Oxford Food Shelf is a FREE non-profit food pantry in Oxford MA. We are available to every resident in Oxford MA who needs groceries to help feed themselves or their family. Don't let anyone in our town go hungry. Tell them to come to us for food. If you need more info, our phone number is 508-987-1062.
