OXFORD ECUMENICAL FOOD SHELF UPDATE

Beginning Thursday March 26th, and every Thursday after, from 4:00 PM until 7:15 PM the Oxford Ecumenical Food Shelf will begin providing PRE-BOXED groceries for Oxford residents.  Please note: No one will be allowed inside the Community Center or the Food Shelf for any reason.

Groceries will be pre-boxed by volunteers and brought up to the front door of the Community Center.  Every family will receive the same amount of groceries including USDA items.

·       BEFORE COMING:

·       Clients should make sure there is room in their trunk or rear hatch for a box of food.

·       UPON ARRIVING:

·       Upon arriving at the Community Center cars should line up in an orderly manner.  Everyone MUST remain inside their car.

·       No one will be allowed to stand around outside the building.

·       Upon arriving at the Community Center clients should open their trunk / rear hatch and return inside their car.

·       Clients will be asked their name, address and phone number for our records.  Anyone who is not already a client will                 receive a sign in sheet and envelope to fill out and return to us in the mail.

·       Volunteers will place the box of food into the trunk and the client can leave.

·       SAFETY FIRST:

·       We believe this will allow us to serve as many families as possible while keeping everyone as safe as possible.

For more information or as the situation changes please continue to follow our website at www.oxfordfoodshelf.org , or on Facebook at the “Oxford Residents Forum”, and also on Facebook at “Oxford Ecumenical Council and Food Shelf”.
